World Series Game 3

You want to hear about a perfect Saturday in October. Let's start with spectacular weather. Then throw in winning your flag football game to put your season at 5 -1 going into the tournament weekend. The best flag football record ever for Hubby and Harold. Smiles, handshakes, pats on the butt all around.

If that wasn't good enough, how about tickets to Game 3 of the World Series in Arlington, TX. If that wasn't good enough, how about throwing in your best buddies to go with you.

That will put a smile on your face. BIG TIME.

UJ and RV in front of The Ballpark at Arlington! They said you could feel the electricity in the air and could barely contain their excitement.

Hubby and Harold doing the father son pose! A World Series game is a first for all of them.

Of course, they got there WAAAYYY early. Early enough to catch some batting practice.

The stands start filling up and the sun starts going down. It is almost game time. I seriously have goose bumps on my arm just typing these words.

Time to grab a bite to eat.

Welcome to Game 3 of the 2010 World Series. San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers.

Going to live TV and the announcer tells the crowd to get the Rally Towels in the air and give baseball lovers everywhere a huge Texas Rangers Welcome. The guys said the stadium was louder than any noise in any sporting event they had ever been to before.

The crowd is on their feet and they are part of the first ever World Series home game for the Texas Rangers. First Ever in Arlington. They have waited a long, long time for this.

Color Guard.

Player introductions.

National Anthem.

Ceremonial first pitch by Nolan Ryan.

The real first pitch.

Screaming till you are hoarse for Colby Lewis who pitched a heck of a game. Rangers are up 4 - 2.

Bring in The Closer - EVERYONE ON THEIR FEET!!!!!

Last out of the game - the place goes CRAZY!! Arms jet into the air - strangers hugging strangers - high fives for everyone within reach! RANGERS WIN!!! RANGERS WIN!!!!

Players congratulate each other and the crowd screams their appreciation for a job well done. Way to go boys!!!

The final scoreboard.

Post game show on the main concourse. Crowd mills around because no one wants this night to be over. EVER.

Could not wipe the smile off of these faces.

Crowd thins out and they make their way down closer to the field.

Can you believe we just watched a World Series game? Let's remember this moment forever.

They ended the night at a Krystals drive-thru and it was the perfect ending to the perfect day in October!
What a thrill for fathers and sons to share. Good Stuff.

Sweet bet that was a blast, you had a better time at World Series not you more fun then the wrestling matches? Right
Nolan threw first pitch, bet it was the first time in history they used a radar gun. Wonder if catcher new a 104 mph fastball was coming, normally no mask on cause most hit 4 feet before plate, that could have been ugly! Lol
