Wild Winter Party

Here are some snapshots from Chip's Christmas Party.  (I'm a rebel, cause I am not going to say Winter Party)  Some 4th graders getting on their Christmas groove in Ms. Coleman's room.

Let's P-A-R-T-Y!

Look at these cute, cute, decorations.

Twinkle lights, snowflakes, and cotton balls make a dreamy ceiling.   This is also what caused my awful embarrassing fall!  Yikes, that hurt!  Knee is still a little bruised, but my toe feels much better..thanks for asking!

Tables set up for the first activity, which is the craft.  Making an ornament out of pasta!  You know that is right up my alley!

Glue them in place and put them in the hall to dry.  Took all of five minutes.

Smile guys, this is fun!

Chip is working hard.  Next up was a snack and the Left Center Right game, which I had never heard of, but it was so fun!  The kids loved it!  I am going to try to play it with the family at Christmas, but instead of using Hershey Kisses we will be using Cold Hard Cash!

Then we moved on to the snowman relay!  Chip got picked to be the snowman and he had a team of three boys wrapping him in toilet paper and outfitting him with all the snowman accessories - hat, gloves, mittens and a shovel.

This is fun!

Laughing and smiling with toilet paper all over the place!

Give me the broom!  Hurry time is almost up!

BOYS win!  BOYS win! BOYS win!  They were so proud!

Then it was a snowball fight with all the white paper and decorations...the kids went wild.  We had to shut this activity down pretty quick!

It was a great party and a good time was had by all!

But the best part was when the bell rang and it was time for Christmas vacation to start!  There were smiles for miles around that school!

Buddy antics from the last few days is coming up shortly!
